I like to often change the avatars and it is inconvenient enough to me to make it in my profiles on many forums and blogs. Therefore I have made a redirect service: short url for my avatar which I one time has specified for all profiles at all forums. And I change pictures here in convenient control panel. I always place avatars on free image hostings like ImageShack

To host an avatar on the a server cost a lot of $$$ for traffic in the end of month, especially when you quite often post at popular forums. That's why the list of free image hostings here

One more inconvenience - not all forums allow to use avatars from external sites, some of them load avatars exclusively on the own server. At such forums the avatar can be replaced only in control panel. In this case I use AvatarChange only to pick up to itself the newcomer beautiful avatar from catalogue. I save it on a disk in My computer and upload it on a forum, or if the forum allows, to load it from image hosting url. Here on a site in my profile my favourite avatars are collected all. And owing to an exchange with other users - I always have brand new avatars.

Also for the convenience I have made the catalogue of forums. It is possible to conduct the list of the forums in a structure and through the common catalogue to find new interesting forums, blogs and other sites used by other users. Info about avatars allowed forums focused on: whether it is possible used avatars from other domains, the size of an avatar. Useful tip: since free image hosting first of all free-of-charge - they do not carry the responsibility for safety of pictures, therefore in the first I recommend to keep the avatars most expensive to you on a disk in My computer and also if you have seen a beautiful avatar on free image hosting - that to you better reupload it for yourselves since it is not known that its owner will want to make with it - can will remove, can will change, and so you will have an own copy and you protect yourselves from unexpectedness.
